The MCA students of the college visited India TV Headquarters
The MCA students of the college visited India TV Headquarters on 17 September 2025 as part of their academic industrial exposure program. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical knowledge of broadcast media operations, newsroom functioning, technical infrastructure, and real-time news production processes.
Activities During the Visit
- Students were welcomed by the India TV PR & Training team.
- A detailed introduction session was held on the history and vision of India TV.
- Students were taken to the Newsroom, where they observed how reporters, editors, and producers work together to create news bulletins.
- They visited the PCR (Production Control Room) and MCR (Master Control Room) to understand the technical systems used for live broadcasting.
- Demonstrations were given on news editing software, teleprompters, camera setups, and studio lighting.
Students also observed a live news bulletin and learned how anchors coordinate with the technical team during on-air sessions.
